Senior Product Manager, Airtime: Sean Parker’s video social network

Airtime, co-founded by Napster co-founder Sean Parker, is a group video-chatting service that allows people to create rooms, invite others to join, and share media like text, video, and photos. We were aiming to build the modern-day living room when friends gathered together to watch something with loved ones. We focused on real-time video chat as a co-watching party, offering a more intimate and connected experience than traditional social media platforms.

Notable Projects:

  1. Shipped Airtime’s full-feature web client, matching mobile parity, as well as leading the forefront of new feature releases

  2. Led the onboarding for a new product launch called Knit: wrote recommendation logic that surfaced each person’s top five “best” friends, and in-product guided walkthroughs for FTUX; launch paused when COVID shifted priorities

  3. Added video, and chat moderation with human escalation to keep Airtime’s rooms friendly and safe, in accordance to T&S standards.

  4. Designed COPPA-compliant onboarding that flags under-13 sign-ups and routes them through an age-appropriate, safeguarded flow.

Senior Product Manager, PeerSpace: international marketplace of spaces.

Peerspace is an online marketplace that allows individuals and businesses to rent out unique venues for events, meetings, photo shoots, and other creative activities. It connects hosts who have available spaces with guests looking to discover and book their ideal space.

Notable Projects:

  1. Expanded Instant Book to new listings: interviewed new, hesitant hosts, tweaked controls and messaging, turning a low-adoption opt-in into a friction-free, one-click booking path

  2. Added Buffer Time: space-level toggle that auto-inserts 30- or 60-minute gaps between bookings, giving multi-booking hosts built-in prep time

  3. Launched Peerspace in Spain with end-to-end internationalization and localized host-guest support.

  4. Rolled out host phone-number capture and SMS verification, one of the platform’s most-adopted feature, cutting time to booking confirmation
